Every new website comes out of the box with a painfully generic, automatically generated post titled "Hello World!" But considering you have spent the better part of your life crafting entirely original narratives, leaving a standard robot greeting sitting on your new digital desk felt like a crime. So, Andy and I decided to hijack your very first entry.

Takeover [H1]

Publicly, our contract is Ideas, Leadership & Storytelling. It’s the craft that gets the job done. Between us, we have a couple of decades of experience navigating everything from startups to established brands, and our primary goal is always to bridge that fatal gap between "making it pretty" and "making it work." We care just as much about the technical precision of the build as we do about the commercial reality of your portfolio. Our promise is always to ask the awkward questions early, so you don't have to answer worse ones later.

But our private compass—the internal motivation that actually drives the work we do—stands for In Love & Service.

We want to leave things better than we found them. We wanted to build you a digital space that feels beautiful, but true. Grounded. A platform that prioritises clarity over lots of intentional noise, allowing your work to speak for itself.

So, why does this post exist? [H2]

We built you a space to showcase your own creative gallery, but we also needed to show you how the mechanics of your new site actually work. Think of this post as a live showcase—a quick-start manual for your new content engine. Here is exactly what you can do with a blank page on this site:

You can add audio: [H3]

Need to set the scene? You can link out to tracks or playlists. The Gallery Theme Tune

You can drop in high-res pictures: [H4]

We used a bit of digital wizardry to transport you back to the 1980s, channeling your inner Tony Hart. Welcome to HULSE BEAT.

Move over Morph and Chas. Please welcome the plasticine debut of Toby and Lou. [QUOTE]

Want to show off a trailer for Roustabout or a clip from the Oxford Playhouse? You can drop videos directly onto the page, just like this nostalgic broadcast we cooked up for you.

Move over Morph and Chas. Please welcome the plasticine debut of Toby and Lou.

Whether you want to point people to Plays for New Audiences to license a script, or just direct them to the contact pageto book a workshop.

This is your sandbox. You can see how the typography sits, how the media breaks up the paragraphs, and how the text breathes on the page.

The keys are officially in the ignition. You can keep this post in the archives as a secret memory of the build, or you can delete it entirely and start fresh with a blank piece of paper.

It has been an absolute joy to build this with you.

In Love and Service,

Jonathan & Andy

Last night I ran a workshop for Bristol A Cappella, a champion mixed barber shop chorus. They are conscious that the world in which they move is pushing towards greater theatricality in its performance, and wanted some support in helping their members act through the songs they sing. At the end of the session, one of the members showed me a big red cardboard sign that they have, emblazoned with the words TOO MUCH. They use this if the choir over act. Apparently it is rarely required.

If you’re reading this, it means that I have finally lost my game of digital hide-and-seek. You’ve found me.

Since working in theatre, I have always had a distrust of directors who approach a play with a big idea – ‘The Tempest is about control, Prospero coercively controls the narrative and characters, and so I will set my production in a circus ring with Prospero as ringmaster.’
