I write, direct and adapt theatre, and I work as a dramaturg on other people’s shows. Across more than fifty productions since 2000 I have usually been the writer, the director, or both at once.
Regular collaborators include Oxford Playhouse, Bristol Old Vic, Roustabout, the Watermill, the Theatre at Chipping Norton and Southwark Playhouse, alongside a long association with Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
A great deal of it, yes. Two of those plays have won the Distinguished Play Award from the American Alliance for Theatre and Education, in 2018 and again in 2019.
